Fire Marshal
The Fire Marshal Division is responsible for assuring fire and life safety for the citizens of Orangeburg County. Plan review is conducted on all new constructions. Fire and Life Safety Code Enforcement on new and existing buildings. The Fire Marshal’s Office also performs origin and cause investigations of suspicious fires, or any fire-related injury or death has occurred to a citizen.
