Training
Under the direction of the Training Officer and in conjunction with the South Carolina Fire Academy, the Training Division strives to provide support and ongoing professional development training through hands-on instruction and presenting dynamic lectures on topics relevant to the needs of the county departments.
The Orangeburg County Fire District Training Center is located at 165 Firefighter Lane located at the convenient intersection of Highway 301 and Interstate 26. The center consists of two classrooms, a five-story drill tower, and a two-story, burn building. The Training Center also has a vehicle extrication area, hazmat prop area, and flammable liquids props.
